Inspiration and Mood Board
The Nightingale bird is famous for its exquisite and intricate song, a blend of melodious and diverse notes that has been a timeless source of inspiration for poets and musicians. The dynamism of its voice and the aesthetic appeal of its feathers inspired this project. A music lover who has a concern for aesthetics and minute details along with quality is sure to opt for the novelty of the unique experience.
Form Derivation
The top view of the speaker has been derived from the layers of feathers of the bird. Later in the process of iterating over the form, a three dimensional view was imagined out of the 2 dimensional sketch.
Product Highlights
The speaker supports Dolby Atmos powerful sound and an ergonomic grip. Stereo style controls, battery indicator lights and a unique form make it even more interactive. Large buttons provide ease of operation through instant feedback of touch and click sound.
Portable to its true sense
Easy to grip handle and the compact shape provides a truly portable form.
Prototyping
Scaled 3D Printed prototype in 2 colors was constructed for a clear idea of the newly imagined form of the speaker.
